The site is located beneath the Story Bridge.
Site Preface
Most recently Howard Smith Wharves was flood affected and is currently in the process of rebuilding. This is not the first natural disturbance to affect the area, as in the year 2000, one of the site buildings collapsed into the river. This heritage site has been vacant for many years and awaits refurbishment and rebuilding.
